Prisoners' protest is on its 19th day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike started by prisoners in prisons within the scope of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, political solution to the Kurdish problem" campaign has entered its 19th day.
 
The "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish problem" campaign, which was launched on October 10 in statements made in 74 different centers around the world in order to eliminate the consequences of the policies of no solution towards the Kurdish problem, is in its third month.
 
The aim of the campaign is to take steps on the Kurdish issue by ensuring the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who has been kept in isolation in İmralı Island Prison for 25 years.
 
Political prisoners in prisons in Turkey and Kurdistan announced that they participated in the ongoing campaign with the alternating hunger strike they started on November 27.
 
The rotating hunger strike action has entered its 19th day.
