	Central Executive Committee (MYK) of Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) made a statement on the air strikes launched against Northern and Eastern Syria after the attack against Turkish Aircraft Industries Incorporation (TAI) in Ankara.

	 

	 In the statement of the DEM Party's CEC, the following statements were made: ‘The air strikes launched after the attack on the TAI facilities in Kahramankazan, Ankara will only deepen the violence in the region. The bombardment of many centres in northern and eastern Syria, particularly in Kobanî, endangers the lives of the civilian population. The devastating effects of war can be catastrophic for all parties in the region. Military operations targeting civilians also violate international law. The continuation of war and conflict will only cause more suffering and loss.
