Hunger strike resistance on its 175th day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike resistance launched by prisoners against the ongoing aggravated isolation in İmralı and rights violations in prisons is on its 175th day.
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding an end to the aggravated isolation imposed upon PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing violations of rights in prisons, continues. The prisoners’ resistance is on the 175th day with the 35th group.
Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır Provincial Organization wanted to make a press release yesterday regarding the isolation, hunger strikes and the political process in Koşuyolu Park. The mass responded to the police’s blocking of making a statement with a sit-in.
