23.5 years prison demand for sexual assault perpetrator

ISTANBUL - İsmail Güneş, who sexually assaulted a woman in Gaziosmanpaşa, was arrested. Up to 23.5 years imprisonment was requested for the perpetrator, about whom an indictment was prepared.
In Istanbul Gaziosmanpaşa, İsmail Güneş systematically harassed the woman who broke up with him. The perpetrator kidnapped the woman he saw on the street and took her to the cemetery in Karlıktepe Neighborhood.
The perpetrator, who made death threats to the woman in the cemetery, sexually assaulted the woman after exposing her to torture. The woman managed to get rid of the perpetrator by saying, "I will not make a complaint. I just want to go and see my daughter." Thereupon, the perpetrator of sexual assault left the woman to her residence after three days.
The woman, who went to the police station, complained about her experiences. The perpetrator, whose statement was taken, was arrested and sent to prison after being referred to the Magistrates Court on Duty.
Up to 23.5 years in prison demand
In the examination carried out in the cemetery within the scope of the investigation of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, traces of the opening of the soil were found. Noting that the perpetrator had given a statement to get rid of the crime, the Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment demanding up to 23.5 years in prison for the crimes of "major sexual assault", "deprivation of liberty" and "injury".
