URFA - Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar, who have been carrying out the "Justice" protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse since March 9, said: "The citizens of the Republic of Turkey cannot find justice on earth and are now looking for it under ground."
Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız before the general elections on June 24, 2018, in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit demanded "justice" in front of the Urfa Courthouse since March 9. The sit-in action they started continues on its 89th day.
The family did not come in front of the courthouse today due to the fact that it was the weekend and the courthouse was closed, as well as the health problems of Emine Şenyaşar. Family stated that they continue their justice vigil from home.
‘We will bring justice’
The family shared on their social media accounts: “The citizens of the Republic of Turkey cannot find justice on earth and are now looking for it under ground. A person (MP) is committing a massacre with his family in the hospital. Three years pass. A prosecutor cannot come out and lift the confidentiality order in the case. We will bring justice by resisting.”
