Journalist Ruken Demir’s case postponed

İZMİR - The case against reporter Ruken Demir, who is on trial for her journalistic activities, has been postponed.
The 7th hearing of the case against Mesopotamia Agency (MA) reporter Ruken Demir, who was on trial with the allegation of "membership in a terrorist organization" on the grounds of her interviews with news sources and the news she made, was held at the 19th High Criminal Court of Bayraklı Courthouse. The Media and Law Studies Association (MLSA) followed the hearing, in which Ruken and her lawyer were present.
Due to the court board’s leave, the duty board continued the hearing.
The case was postponed to October 5, in order that the Cyber Investigation Report from the Anti-terror İzmir Branch Department did not arrive and the missing issues were overcome.
