ANKARA - HDP MP Remziye Tosun submitted a parliamentary question regarding the racist aggressor Onur Gencer, who killed Deniz Poyraz, asking the Minister of Health and the Minister of Interior to reply. In the parliamentary question, the perpetrator's connection with SADAT was asked.

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır MP Remziye Tosun submitted a parliamentary question to the Speaker’s Office, asking Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu and Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca to answer the murder of Deniz Poyraz in the racist attack against her party's İzmir Provincial Organization.

‘Despite negotiations, no action was taken’

In the parliamentary question submitted with the request of the Minister of Interior to respond, it was stated that at the time of the attack, Izmir Provincial Co-Chair Abdulkadir Baydur wanted to enter the building, but was blocked by three civil polices in front of the building, while the perpetrator was still inside, and gunshots were heard. In the parliamentary question, which emphasized that the "attitude that almost watched over the perpetrator" of the police after the attack, the public reacted. "Law enforcement officers asked questions after catching the murderer, saying, 'What's your name, mate?' and did not handcuff. Photographs of the murderer with a camouflaged, armed, and official vehicle appeared in the press, and it was claimed that he went to Syria in connection with SADAT. In addition, HDP Central Executive Board member Mahfuz Güleryüz has stated that they have been in talks with the İzmir Provincial Police and Governor's Office regarding targeting the party in Izmir for months, but despite this, no action has been taken," mentioned in parliamentary question.

The following questions were asked to the Minister of the Interior:

“*So to say that a police station was established in front of the İzmir HDP Provincial Organization by the units affiliated to your ministry, what was the main duty of the law enforcement officers there? What were they doing at the time of the attack? Why was the intervention to the attack delayed?

* Is it true that two people other than the murderer Onur Gencer were present at the time of the attack?

* Was the killer a health officer? What was his mission in Syria? If he is a health officer, was the action taken against the camouflaged, armed, official plate photographs of him?
* What is the reason for the Izmir Provincial Police to give a gun license to the murderer Onur Gencer?

* What is the connection of the murderer with SADAT, which is stated to be a military consulting company?

* Did your ministry receive intelligence about an attack? Despite the warnings of HDP Central Executive Board member Mahfuz Güleryüz, why did the Police and Governorship units of your Ministry ignore these warnings? Why didn't your ministry take measure?

* Has your ministry initiated an investigation regarding the negligence of your units and law enforcement officers in the attack?

* What is the reason why the HDP lawyers were not allowed in after the attack by the law enforcement? Since this attitude raises the public suspicion that the evidence can be discredited, do you have any work to remove this suspicion?
* While the detained ill prisoner in Eskişehir H Type Prison Devrim Ayık was being taken to the hospital by the gendarmerie affiliated to your Ministry, while he was wearing double handcuffs, Onur Gencer, who was caught after the attack on the İzmir HDP Provincial Organization, was taken into custody by almost being protected by law enforcement officers. Isn't this dual attitude of law enforcement officers responsible for protecting citizens a crime?

What is the justification for this dual attitude?”

The Minister of Health was asked about the perpetrator's mission

In the parliamentary question that Health Minister Fahrettin Koca was asked to answer, the claim that the perpetrator was a "former health officer" was reminded and the following questions were asked to the Minister:
“* Was the murderer Onur Gencer a health officer? What was his job in the ministry?

* Why was the murderer Onur Gencer sent to Syria? What was his official mission in Syria?

* If the murderer is a health officer, was action taken against the camouflaged, armed, official plate photographs of him? What is the suspect's connection to SADAT?”
