Rape and death threat to ÜKK woman

ANKARA - A member of the ÜKK, who participated in the Istanbul Convention protest, was threatened with death and rape by an unidentified man on social media account.
With the repeal of the Istanbul Convention, one of the women who came together on Sakarya Street in Ankara, a member of the University Women's Collective (ÜKK), was threatened by an unidentified man from virtual media account. The woman, who first faced the threat of death and rape by messaging and then calling, shared the man's voice recording.
The collective exposed the voice recording of the man threatening the woman, who is a member, by sharing it on their virtual media account. In collective post, they also stated: ‘’A friend of ours from the ÜKK is threatened with death and rape because she participated in the actions of the Istanbul Convention. Those who abolished the Istanbul Convention are responsible for everything that happens to women today.’’
The collective filed a criminal complaint against the man after the post.
