AĞRI - There has been no news from a woman named Fatma K. in Patnos since July 16. Relatives pointed to father Aydın K. and stated that Fatma was subjected to systematic violence.

 

Fatma K. (24), who lives in TOKI Neighborhood of Patnos district of Ağrı, has not been heard from since July 16. A relative who reached our agency reported that Fatma had been forced into marriage by her father Aydın K. and that she had been divorced due to violence. Relatives also made serious allegations about the family.

 

According to the claim of her relative who reached our agency about not hearing from Fatma, she was subjected to violence by her father on the day of the incident. Pointing to the father Aydın K. about Fatma’s disappearance, her relative stated that he also systematically exposed her daughter and mother to violence.

 

‘No life safety for mother’

 

The allegations did not end there. Her relative claimed that Fatma was forced into marriage by her father in exchange for money, that her mother was threatened and that her life was not safe. A call was made to the public for awareness so that Fatma could be found as soon as possible.

 

On the other hand, Fatma’s mother and father, whom we called to ask about the allegations and get information about the situation, left our calls unanswered.
