About Bülent Cenikli, who lives in the Canik district of Samsun, was given restraining order from home a while ago because he committed violence to Ayşe Cenikli, who is wife of him. Bülent Cenikli went home this morning and shot Ayşe, who went out to go to work, with a firearm at the entrance of the apartment building.

 

Seriously injured, Ayşe lost her life while being taken to the hospital by ambulance. The perpetrator went to the police and surrendered.

 

On the other hand, Minister of Internal Affairs Süleyman Soylu, who made a statement regarding the killed women last week, claimed that "femicides have decreased".
