Hunger strike action continues on its 162nd day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike initiated by prisoners to end the aggravated isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing violations of rights in prisons, has entered its 162nd day after the 33rd group took over the hunger strike.
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding an end to the aggravated isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and violations of rights in prisons, continues with 33rd group in its 162nd day.
 
On the other hand, according to the information reported by the families whose children are in the Diyarbakır Women's Closed Prison, it was stated that the prisoners staying in the B-11 ward were caught coronavirus, the families were called by the prison administration and informed that the prisoners' coronavirus test was positive. It was recorded that the prisoners Feriha Vari and Emine Erol were in severe condition and were tied to the oxygen tube.
