ANKARA - HDP Co-Chairs Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar issued a message regarding the Eid el-Fitr. In the message, it was stated that while celebrating the eids of all peoples, the struggle will continue to create eid where bridges of fraternity and peace are built instead of seeds of hatred among peoples.

 

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chairs Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar issued a message regarding the Eid el-Fitr. It was stated in the message that they wish the eids to lead to the emergence of light, peace, fraternity, equality and solidarity against the darkness of cruelty, tyranny, and fascism.

 

The message published by the co-chairs continues as follows:

 

"We believe that this year's Eid el-Fitr will be instrumental in the mobilization of solidarity with our suffering peoples, to share our sorrows, joys and bread. We wish an eid where solidarity, sharing and bridges of fraternity will be built.

 

On the occasion of Eid el-Fitr, we wish the prayers for health, peace, rest, justice and the fraternity of the peoples to be accepted in our country and all over the world, and we convey our message of peace, fraternity and solidarity to the whole world.

 

We are determined to continue our struggle to create an eid where massacres are not considered appropriate for peoples, where no one is forced to emigrate from their homeland, women, children and young people are not killed, violated, abused, and where bridges of fraternity and peace are built, not seeds of hatred among peoples. On this occasion, we celebrate the Ramadan Fest of the whole Islamic world with our sincere feelings."
