It was stated that a fire broke out in the part where female detainees were staying in Diyarbakır Women's Closed Prison yesterday evening. It was noted that the women injured in the fire were taken to Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital. Information on how many women were taken to the hospital and their names could not be obtained.
It was expressed by the eyewitnesses that one of the women who was taken to the hospital shouted, "They are tortured, we do not want to go to prison."
