Resistance in prisons on its 263rd day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike resistance, which continues against the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing rights violations in prisons, is on its 263rd day.
The hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding the lifting of the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and an end to the increasing violations of rights in prisons is on its 263rd day. The hunger strike resistance, which started indefinitely and alternately every five days, and continues alternately every 15 days since 14 July, continues with the 49th group.
Hunger strike in Maxmur is on its 242nd day
The hunger strike, which started on December 18, 2020, in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region, led by women against the Imralı isolation and continued at the Maxmur Martyrs’ Families Council, has entered its 242nd day.
