MUŞ - HDP Muş provincial executive Çiçek Tutuş, who was called to testify within the scope of the file in which Muş Provincial Co-chair Belma Nergiz was arrested, was asked about the flowers distributed on the women’s day and the meeting she had with Belma on this issue.
Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Muş Provincial Co-chair Belma Nergiz was detained and arrested by the court she was brought to on August 13.
HDP Muş provincial executive Çiçek Tutuş, who was called for testify within the scope of the same file, which also had a confidentiality order right after Belma’s arrest, was asked about her phone conversation with Co-chair Belma about the flowers purchased for 8 March International Women’s Day and distributed to women in Muş centre.
Element of a crime ‘flower’
In the police statement, Çiçek was asked the following question regarding the phone conversation she had with Co-chair Belma: ‘’It has been determined that Belma Nergiz called you and stated that she forgot her flower and that she would take to home and take flower from home. Considering the date of the conversation, in the open source research conducted on the social media site of the HDP Muş Provincial Chairship, it was determined that the Muş HDP Provincial Chairship distributed flowers to women in the center of Muş on March 8, International Women’s Day. Provide information about the content of the conversation.’’
‘They invent crime’
HDP Ağrı MP Dilan Diyet Taşdemir drew attention to the accusation against HDP Muş provincial executive Çiçek Tutuş and shared the following on Twitter: ‘’Our Muş Provincial Co-chair Belma Nergiz was arrested for buying flowers to be given to women on the March 8. This is the proof. They are inventing crime to arrest our friends.’’
