ANKARA - Fatma Karakuzu who wanted to make a statement in front of the Antalya Courthouse for her daughter’s release was taken into custody.

 

After being held in prison for a while, Ayşe Özdoğan, a patient with 4th stage cancer who was released in December 2019, was not accepted for a postponement of execution and was put in Denizli L Type Prison after her sentence was approved in the Court of Cassation. Ayşe’s mother, Fatma Karakuzu and Melek Çetinkaya, made a press release in front of the Antalya Courthouse.

 

 

‘I am in front of the courthouse until my daughter is released’

 

Fatma, who wanted Ayşe’s sentence to be postponed and released from prison, said, ‘’I am in front of the courthouse until Ayşe is released. I have had cancer for one month too, and I became cancer from thinking about my daughter. Save my daughter.’’

 

The police, who prevented the statement, took Fatma into custody.
