URFA - Visiting Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar, EMEP stated that they plan to hold a ‘’Justice Conference’’ together with the Urfa Provincial Organization, while Emine Şenyaşar thanked for the visit and reiterated her demand for justice.

 

The justice vigil started in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her spouse Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar and her children Adil and Celal Şenyaşar as a result of the attack of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s guard and relatives, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continues on the 229th day.

 

Although it is the weekend, the family continues their protest in front of the courthouse.

 

The family was visited by the Chair of the Labour Party (EMEP) Ercüment Akdeniz, EMEP Urfa provincial chair and executives.

 

Ferit Şenyaşar gave information to the visitors about the massacre.

 

‘Why did the file take three and half years?’

 

Ercüment, who said that the screams for justice are rising all over the country, underlined that everyone should be by Emine’s side. Ercüment continued, ‘’If the people in this case go unpunished, a new series of murders will begin. This case is not the case of the Şenyaşar family. In order for gang law to end and universal law to be fulfilled, this case must be embraced by the whole society. Together with our Urfa provincial organization, we are planning to hold a ‘Justice Conference’ over the Şenyaşar murder with organizations throughout the city. The file is split into two. Why did the file take three and half years? Anyone who condoned the massacre should be questioned’’.

 

‘My children’s blood is mixed with each other’

 

Speaking afterward, Emine said that her children were brutally murdered and that the perpetrator of the massacre hide behind to his political identity. Pointing out that her children were murdered innocently, Emine said, ‘’My children’s blood was mixed with each other. They killed my children for money. They are keeping my son in a one-person ward in prison’’.

 

Reminding that there was a huge massacre in Suruç State Hospital, Ferit said, ‘’The ambulance is being stoned. Although this is a crime. Why does Minister Fahrettin Koca not make a statement on this issue?’’

Then Ercüment Akdeniz joined to sit-in protest of the Şenyaşar family.
