MANİSA - Manisa Peace Mothers Initiative was established. Behiye Yalçın, one of the Peace Mothers, called on all mothers to struggle under the umbrella of the initiative to end the suffering.

 

The women who came together in the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Turgutlu district building announced the establishment of the Manisa Peace Mothers Initiative.

 

Speaking on behalf of the initiative, Behriye Yalçın said that women should be together for the suffering to end. Behiye continued, ‘’Mothers who have suffered must end the war by struggling in the streets, not at home. We declared the formation for the end of suffering and a more organized work. We need to organize for our land, our children and our identity. If we mothers do not organize, no one can find a solution to our suffering. We have to fight to keep our children alive’’.

 

Behiye wanted all mothers who want peace to take part in the initiative.
