ISTANBUL - Before the 3rd Ordinary Congress to be held of the HDP Youth Council on December 26, the Young Women’s Coordination members made a call and invited the young people to Diyarbakır to say ‘’Now is the time of youth’’.

 

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Youth Council will hold its 3rd Ordinary Congress in Diyarbakır on December 26. The Youth Council, which will hold the congress with the slogan ‘’Now is the Time of Youth’’, continues its preparations for the congress and continues to make announcements in this context. The youth, who called for participation in the congress by distributing leaflets and brochures street to street, also held meetings in Istanbul in this context. The youth, who hung banners with congress announcements on the streets of Istanbul, aim to carry the spirit of struggle to the congress.

‘The youth are not afraid from the policies of fascism’

 

Esengül Kılıç from HDP Young Women’s Coordination said that the youth and women showed great interest to the HDP Istanbul Provincial Congress held on December 12. She contunied, ‘’At the congress, the youth once again gave the message that they are not afraid from the policies of fascism and that they are waging organized struggle by resisting. On this basis, with the excitement and enthusiasm of December 12, we invite all our friends, particularly women, to the HDP Youth Council congress on December 26. Because in recent years, young women were the most affected from the policies of fascism. Both the pandemic and the state of emergency conditions have affected young women in many ways. ‘Raise your voice’

 

From the Young Women’s Coordination Gönül Taşkın, who invited the young people to the congress by saying ‘’Now is the time of youth’’ to raise their voices against the problems they face in every field, said, ‘’We invite all women to the Youth Congress organized by our Youth Council on December 26, in order to make the voices of all women oppressed at universities, workplaces, homes, streets and fields to be heard’’.
