KONYA -The body of academician, writer and journalist Nagihan Akarsel, who was murdered in Sulaymaniyah, is on its way to Cihanbeyli district to be buried after autopsy procedures.

 

The funeral of Nagihan Akersel, a member of the Jineology Research Center and editor of the Jineology Journal, who was murdered as a result of an armed attack in the city of Sulaymaniyah in the Federated Kurdistan Region on October 4, arrived in his hometown of Konya.

 

The body of Nagihan, who was taken to Konya City Hospital for autopsy procedures, left for Gölyazı Village of Cihanbeyli district to be buried after the procedures were completed.

 

Nagihan's funeral is expected to reach her village around 14:30.
