NEWS CENTER - Postcards started to be sent to İmralı from Europe within the scope of the global campaign demanding freedom for PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and a political solution to the Kurdish problem.

 

The global campaign launched for PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is pointed out as the main actor in the solution of the Kurdish issue, in statements made in 74 centers around the world on October 10, demanding "freedom for Abdullah Öcalan and a political solution to the Kurdish problem", is about to leave its 3rd month behind. Within the scope of the campaign, where many actions and events have been carried out so far, postcards have started to be sent to İmralı, which was previously announced.

 

European Kurdistan Democratic Societies Congress (KCDK-E) Co-Chair Zübeyde Zümrüt announced that they have started the postcard sending campaign she pioneered as of today.

 

Zübeyde announced that upon completion of their work, the distribution of the cards they prepared and their shipment to İmralı began.

 

The cards, prepared in different languages including Kurdish, English and French, included messages from Abdullah Öcalan, whose freedom was demanded, especially regarding women's freedom, the environment and solutions to global crises.
