NEWS CENTRE - Kurdish hackers have hacked the websites of ministries established by HTS, which attacked Rojava.
In response to the attacks on Rojava by HTS, DAISH and gangs supported by Turkey, a Kurdish hacker group called Ş. Hevrîn Xelef Hecker Team hacked the websites of the Interior, Economy and Foreign Trade Ministries established by HTS. The hacker group shared the pages of the ministries they hacked.
In a statement, the group said the action was an attempt to hold them accountable for human rights violations and massacre policies in Rojava. The statement said, ‘Accountability for every drop of blood shed in Rojava will be sought through the digital wreckage of these institutions,’ noting that the attacks by HTS, DAISH-minded groups and the forces supporting them against the Kurdish people had reached the level of genocide.
The group also stated that the military and political networks of institutions affiliated with HTS were being monitored and that data collection efforts were ongoing. The statement included the following: "We are not only disrupting your systems; we are also thoroughly monitoring all your military and political networks, the Ministry of Interior's coercive mechanisms, and the traces of your dirty dealings with the Turkish state."
In the call to action section of its statement, the Ş. Hevrîn Xelef Hacker Team addressed hackers around the world, calling on them to ‘take your place in this just struggle, attack the infrastructure of oppression, do not remain silent’ against what is happening in Rojava
