Funeral ceremony for 11 fighters in Qamishlo

NEWS CENTRE - A funeral ceremony for 11 fighters belonging to the QSD, YPJ and Asayish Forces began with widespread participation.
A funeral ceremony was held in Qamishlo for fighters from the QSD, YPJ and Asayish Forces who lost their lives while resisting attacks by HTS, DAISH and gangs affiliated with Turkey. As the fighters' coffins were received by thousands, the crowd frequently chanted the slogan, ‘Yeke yeke yeke gele Kurd yeke.’ Speeches delivered at the event conveyed messages of resistance.
The names of the fighters for whom the funeral ceremony was held are as follows: YPJ Commander Sîdar Efrîn (Leyla Hemo), YPJ fighters Viyan Cûdî (Sara Hesen), Stêrk Rojhat (Nesrîn Xelîl), Rewşen Zana Efrîn (Rewşen Îbrahîm); QSD fighters Dilşêr Qamişlo (Îbrahîm Mihemed), Karker Qamişlo (Hesen Mele Hesen), Rojhat Qamişlo (Mîtan Hisên), Çiyager Armanc (Yezen Mihemed), Diyar Qamişlo (Ciwan Suhbî), Şêrewan Şêrawa (Hesen Elî) and Internal Security Forces member Mihemed Kamil Mamo.
The bodies of fighters Rojhat Qamişlo, Dilşêr Qamişlo, Stêrk Rojhat, Şêrewan Şêrawa, Diyar Qamişlo and Sîdar Efrîn were taken from the Martyrs' Families Council building in the Enteriyê neighbourhood to the Martyr Delîl Sarûxan Cemetery, where a ceremony was held.
A separate ceremony will be held for the other fighters who lost their lives.
