16 families forced to migrate have reached Çilaxa

NEWS CENTRE - 16 families remaining in Raqqa, Tabqa and Homs due to attacks by gangs have reached the Alyan region of Çilaxa.
Sixteen families from Afrin and Shehbal, who were forced to leave their homes due to attacks by HTS, DAISH and gangs affiliated with Turkey, have reached the Alyan region of Çilaxa. The Kêşikê Town Council in Çilaxa welcomed the families, consisting of 68 people, and settled them in the villages of Qesteban, Badyan and Dêrna Axayê.
The displaced families were settled in empty houses in the villages, prepared by the villagers and the district council.
Mehabad Abdullah, a member of the Kêşikê Town Council, stated that they had prepared homes for the displaced persons with the help of service and emergency committees and that lists of names had been prepared for the distribution of aid.
Mehabad Abdullah noted that the villagers were also providing material and moral support to the displaced families and stated that aid to the displaced families would continue.
