Mukaddes Alataş released from prison

DİYARBAKIR- Human rights defender and women’s rights activist Mukaddes Alataş has been released from prison by 10th High Criminal Court.
Many members and administrators of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) were taken into custody on May 10 within the scope of detention operation against the party. Human rights defender Mukaddes Alataş, sister of Kurdish journalist writer Evrim Alataş lost her life in 2010, was among the detained people. Mukaddes Alataş has been released from prison today by 10th High Criminal Court in Diyarbakır.
