‘Our struggle won’t stop until Abdullah Öcalan becomes free’

DİYARBAKIR-Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Diyarbakır Provincial Co-chair Ruken Akça spoke on behalf of the DBP and attendants during the press statement issued about the 19th anniversary of the international conspiracy and she remarked that their struggle will not stop until PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan becomes free.
A press statement was issued in the provincial building of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) in Diyarbakır about the international conspiracy organized against PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan on October 9, 1998. Members of the DBP-HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) Diyarbakır provincial and district organizations, Free Women’s Movement (TJA) and Amed Peace Mothers’ Assembly, HDP Diyarbakır MPs Feleknas Uca and Sibel Yiğitalp and HDP Group Spokesperson Ahmet Yıldırım attended the press statement. DBP Diyarbakır Provincial Co-chair Ruken Akça read the statement on behalf of the DBP and attendants. Noting that the conspiracy was organized against the Kurdish people to intimidate them, Ruken emphasized that Abdullah Öcalan and the Kurdish people destroyed the conspiracy together.
‘His paradigm lives in Rojava'
Ruken said that Abdullah Öcalan gave the Middle East a soul and life. Pointing out that the paradigm stated by Abdullah Öcalan lives in Rojava, Ruken said that this model of living become an example for the whole world. “Many European states have seen and accepted this. Turkey has imposed an aggravated isolation on the Kurdish People's leader for two years. The state knows that the conspiracy has been destroyed. That is why the isolation is being aggravated. We will not be free unless Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan becomes free. Therefore, we will not stop our struggle.”
