ŞIRNAK - Cizre and Şırnak city center have been blockaded by armored vehicles and police for President Tayyip Erdoğan, who will come to Şırnak today for his party’s ordinary congress.

 

An intense police blockade is going on in Cizre and Şırnak city center for President Tayyip Erdoğan, who will go to Şırnak today for his party’s 6th Ordinary Congress. Armored vehicles have been positioned in each street of Cizre district of Şırnak province and the police have performed ID check on people taking minibus in the town. Checkpoints have been set up at the city entrance and the cars going to city center from districts have been kept waiting for a long time.
