Heyva Sor: Children are being killed, stop murders

NEWS CENTER - Heyva Sor (Kurdish Red Crescent) Afrîn Representative teams, who pulled the dead bodies of 11 people including seven children from the wreckage after the bombardment of Turkish warplanes, say people are under the wreckage, “We are witnessing the crime against humanity. Stop these murders.”
Heyva Sor (Kurdish Red Crescent) Afrîn Representative has released a written statement on the civilians killed by attacks of Turkish warplanes on Afrin. The statement says, “500,000 displaced people have taken shelter in Afrin, where has been the safest places since the beginning of the Syrian crisis. On January 21 (yesterday), a store where civilians were was hit by Turkish warplanes and our medical team witnessed this massacre. Our team managed to save seven civilians from the wreckage; however we reached to dead bodies of 11 civilians, seven of them were children. Six people are still under the wreckage, our search and rescue operations continue.
‘Take action’
As Kurdish Red Crescent, we call on all human rights organizations, organizations of the United Nations to generate pressure against these attacks directed at civilians. We call on them to take action to stop Turkish government’s murders targeting civilians.”
