14-year-old child writes a book on femicide

BİNGÖL - A middle school student 14-year-old Nazime Koşun has written a book on femicide. The book published her teachers’ support has taken center stage and Nazime has started her preparation for her second book.
14-year-old Nazime Koşun, a fourth grade student of Yeni Yerleşim Secondary School located in the Göltepesi villages of Bingöl city center, has written her first book named “Kar Tanesi (Snowflake)”. Nazime began to read books with the direction of the school counselor. During the summer holiday, she impressed by a book and began to write a book on femicide. She spent her a year to write this book and her book was published last month.
Nazime talked about the period of writing the book and she said, “I hadn’t had the reading habit before meeting my teacher but I get in the reading habit thanks to my teacher. Our teacher suggested us to try to write a book during our summer holiday and I began to write a book. I concentrated on the subject and character for the first eight months. I gave up writing after creating the character but I decided to write the book again upon the insistence of our teacher. I determined the main theme as women, pain, past and honor killings.”
‘I begin to write my second book’
Stating that she has begun to write her second book, Nazime said, “People have visited me at school and home and they share their thoughts and good feelings. I decide to write another book after receiving good comments. All my peers good at writing should start to write.”
