Police attack members of KESK

ANKARA - Police attacked Confederation of Public Laborer's Unions (KESK) members, who wanted to march to the OHAL (State of Emergency) Commission to be reinstated. Police used tear gas and rubber bullets against dismissed public laborers and detained 15 public laborers.
Dismissed members of the Confederation of Public Laborer's Unions (KESK) gathered outside of building of Tüm Bel-Sen (Union of municipal employees) to march to the OHAL (State of Emergency) Commission. First police allowed 15 laborers to march on condition that the laborers would march without wearing their aprons.
Laborers handcuffed behind the back
A group of riot police blocked the laborers on Kumrular Avenue and told them “March is not allowed”. Police attacked the laborers protesting the obstacle. Police used tear gas and rubber bullets against the laborers and detained them. Police handcuffed the laborers behind the back.
15 laborers were detained in police attack and Oktay İnce, a video-activist from Seyr-i Sokak, was also detained while covering the protest.
