KOCAELİ – 20 members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) have been detained in the house raids conducted in Kocaeli province.

 

Detention operation conducted against the members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) before the party’s 3rd Ordinary Congress to be held in Ankara on February 11 has continued. In the morning, police raided many houses in Gebze district of Kocaeli and detained 20 people, including HDP Gebze Co-chairs Damla Bağcı and Mustafa Altunbaş.

 

Detained 20 HDP members have been taken to Anti-Terror Branch (TEM) in Kocaeli.
