AFRÎN - Kurdistan Women's Committee members, who come to Afrîn to support the resistance, emphasized that the resistance of Afrîn will achieve victory with the resistance of the free women.

 

Kurdistan Women's Committee consists of 18 members and eight organizations went to Afrin to support the people’s resistance against attacks of Turkey and Turkey-backed groups enter the 43rd day and they performed several visits in the city. The committee members first visited “Families of Martyrs Assembly” and then went to Martyr Avesta Xabur Cemetery. The women made a statement after their visit to the cemetery. The committee member Bêrîvan Şaho stated that Afrîn will achieve victory with the thoughts and practice of the free women. The committee members also visited Avrîn Hospital. After the visit, the committee members issued a press statement.  The statement says, “We come to the city in order to state that we are standing by the people of Afrin against invasion attacks on behalf of all women in Kurdistan. As the legendary resistance of the people of Afrin is going on, Turkish state has been killing the children and women in the city by using the weapons of the NATO. The international community still keeps silence against these attacks. People of Rojava have resisted since 2012. The people of Afrin is resisting against all attacks.”
