Color of women keeps spreading

DİYARBAKIR/VAN - As women organize events in Diyarbakır within the scope of March 8, International Women’s Day, an art exhibition telling of “Killing of women and children” was organized in Van province. In the both cities, the women give a message that March 8 should be the day of resistance and struggle against femicide.
Dicle Amed Women’s Platform (DAKAP) organized an event in Bağlar district of Diyarbakır province within the scope of March 8, International Women’s Day. The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır MPs Feleknas Uca and Sibel Yiğitalp, members of TJA (Free Women’s Movement) and the platform attended the event organized at Serdar Wedding Hall. DAKAP member Serap Kılıç stated that they will keep their struggle against male-dominant system with the women around the world and she said, “We were here, we are here and we will be here.”
HDP Diyarbakır MP Feleknas Uca made a talk after greeting the prisoners and those who fighting Daesh. Emphasizing that all women should get together on March 8 against isolation in Imrali, Feleknas said, “We cannot be free without breaking the isolation in Imrali. March 8 should be the day of struggle and resistance against massacres.”
Van
Ahtamara Women’s Platform has organized events in Van province on the occasion of March 8, International Women’s Day for three days. The women got together at the art exhibition telling of “Killing of women and children” held at the building of KESK (Confederation of Public Laborer's Unions) Van Branches Platform.
