Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) has called on the United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for human rights to take an immediate action against the attacks of Turkey and Turkey-backed groups on Afrin. Reporting that airstrikes are carried out on Afrin and that many civilians have been killed due to these attacks, the SOHR says, “The High Commissioner for Human Rights and international organizations should act immediately to fulfill their humanitarian responsibilities and save thousands of people in Afrin. Hundreds of civilians have been killed in attacks of Turkey.”
