NEWS CENTER - Kurdish people living in Europe took to the streets to show their reaction to the attacks on Afrin. The Kurdish people call for stop the attacks and they continued their protest all day.

 

France

 

The protest took place at Comedie Square of France’s Montpellier city began at 6 pm. A civil disobedience action was carried out in France’s Toulouse city by Toulouse Democratic Kurdish Community Center and Toulouse Women’s Movement. The mass gathering at 6 pm made a statement and they recalled the ceasefire decision of the United Nations Security Council and they reacted to the silence of the EU and UN.

 

Hundreds of people attended the march organized in Rennes city of France. The protest ended after a demonstration was held outside of Rennes Municipality.

 

Austria

 

Kurdish people protested Turkish attacks on Afrin in Innsbruck city of Austria. Second protest was organized in Vienna by Democratic Forces Union.

 

Belgium

 

In Belgium’s Brussels city, a protest took place outside of the United Nations (UN) that keeps its silence against the attacks on Afrin. Families of Afrin gave a file to the UN during the protest.

 

Sweden

 

A mass protest was organized in front of the building of the US Embassy in Stockholm. The protest led by Solidarity Committee with Afrîn Resistance, the people pointed out that the weapons of NATO and Western countries are being used in the attacks.

 

Netherlands

 

Kurdish people and their friends carried out many protests in Netherlands against the attacks on Afrin. The protests took place in The Hague, Rotterdam and Arnhem. Those who gathered in Arnhem stated that they would never leave the streets until the attacks were ended.

 

England

 

Kurdish people and their friends carried out a protest in front of the prime minister's office in London.

 

Italy

 

Kurdish people and their Italian friends gathered outside of the building of Rai3, the state television, in Firenze and they protested the killing of civilians in Afrin. The mass reacted to silence of the Rai3 against the attacks on Afrin and they went live after talking to the channel crew. After giving the details of killed civilians in Afrin, the mass ended their protest.
