NEWS CENTER- Kurdish, Arab, Turkmen and Armenian people living in Gırê Spi came together for Newroz celebration.

 

Kurdish, Arab, Turkmen and Armenian people living in Gırê Spi Canton of Northern Syria came together for Newroz celebration. The celebration organized with the motto, “Let’s strengthen resistance with the spirit of Newroz; let’s gain the victory in Afrin” was held in Kopirlik village located in the south of the city. The people living in the canton flocked to the Newroz area in the morning. The flags of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM), YPG and YPJ and the pictures of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan were hung in the Newroz area.

 

Gıre Spi Canton Co-chair Hemdan El Eb made a speech during the celebration and said, “Everywhere should be a resistance castle after the invasion attacks of Turkish state on Afrin. We will show the world that we will never surrender.”
