AFRIN - Afrin Canton Co-chair Hêvî Mistefa stated that the resistance of the people of Afrin against a great savagery for 58 days is going on and “The greatest plan of the 21st century was made against the Kurdish people in Afrin.  But the invaders shouldn’t be happy as long as these peoples have resistance and faith,” said Hêvî Mistefa.

 

Hundreds of thousands of people, who took shelter first in the city center and then in Shehba Canton due to the bombardment of the Turkish Army and its backed groups, are looking forward to return from 15 kilometers away Afrin. The people of Afrin taking shelter in Shehba emphasize that they will definitely return to their territory. Afrin Canton Co-chair Hêvî Mistefa said that the people of Afrin resisted for 58 days against a great savagery and that tens of babies, women and elders were killed for the world to see.

 

The greatest plan of the 21st century was made in Afrin

 

“Nobody should think the invaders succeed,” said Hêvî and emphasized that the people of Afrin actually win. Hêvî continued to speak as follows; “Why, because such a technique hasn’t been used even in interstate wars. We saw this with our own eyes. Afrin is ours and we can do everything for our lands. The greatest plan of the 21st century was made against the Kurdish people in Afrin.

 

‘We are here to retake our lands’

 

“Invader Turkish state, Russia and those who allegedly take part in Syrian lands united and targeted Afrin. They attacked by using intense technique and invaded Afrin. Russia came to “The camp of the resistance” and thought it would deceive our people. The people sent the Russia away from the camp, even though there were no instructions. A state sold us shouldn’t approach us by crying crocodile tears. The people told them, “We don’t want food, we want Afrin.” But the invaders shouldn’t be happy as long as these peoples have resistance and faith. We are here to retake our lands.”
